Interested in checking out Kissimmee’s interesting Murals but don’t want to take the car? Well Kapp & Kappy B&B has you covered. In this blog we will take you on a tour around broadway starting from our location, to Violets Garage, back to us while checking out the amazing art along the way.

We know the image above of the overall tour path looks a bit confusing, so to simplify it, we are going to split the tour up into two parts. The first part of the walking tour will be from Kapp & Kappy to Violets Garage. The second part of the tour will be from Violets Garage back to Kapp & Kappy.

Kapp & Kappy Broadway Kissimmee Florida Walking Tour Guide Part One to Violets Garage

1) American Eagle

Directions: Start by taking a right to end up on W Verona Street. Once you arrive at N Stewart Ave, take a left. Take a right to end up on W Darlington Ave. The first piece will be on your left. (15 W Darlington Ave, Kissimmee, FL 34741)

The Mural: The mural “American Eagle” was created by Ermes Art. The mural depicts an American Eagle, with the American Flag colors in the background.

2) Butterflies

Directions: Continue down Darlington Ave just a little more to reach the next mural on the right. (1 W Darlington Ave, Kissimmee, FL 34741)

The Mural: The mural “Butterflies” was created by Carlos Morales. The mural depicts beautiful butterflies and flowers along the wall.

3) Welcome to Kissimmee

Direction: Take a left once you reach Broadway, and the mural will be at the end of the street. (2 W Monument Ave)

The Mural: The mural “Welcome to Kissimmee” was created by Ric One. This mural spells the word Kissimmee while including representative images inside of the word.

4) Sunrise Reflections

Diections: Continue straight and you’ll come across the mural. (201 Broadway)

The Mural: “Sunrise Reflections” was created by Sabrina Shumaker. The mural depicts 2 herons and a gator behind the sunrise.

5) Florida Panther

Directions: Continue down Broadway past Dakin until you reach the corner of Sproule Ave. The building will have the next mural. (403 Broadway)

The Mural: “Florida Panther” was created by Ryan Semple. As the name implies the mural depicts a Florida Panther.

6) Violet’s Garage

Directions: Continue straight and there will be a building on the left, with a gate. That is Violet’s Garage. (413 Broadway)

The Location: Violet’s Garage is a Brewery and Event Space for anyone to rent. From parties to meetings, they accommodate everything you need. They even host events sometimes!

Kapp & Kappy Broadway Kissimmee Florida Walking Tour Guide Part Two to Kapp & Kappy

1) Toho Sunset

Directions: Continue down Broadway until you get to the light. The building on the corner will have the next mural. (421 broadway)

The Mural: “Toho Sunset” was created by Willie Soto. The mural depicts a sunset on Florida’s Lake Toho.

2) Kowtown

Directions: At the light on Broadway and Neptune, take a left to arrive on the other side of broadway, to essentially make a u-turn. Keep heading down past Sproule until you see the mural. (312 Broadway)

The Mural: “Kowtown” was created by Shea Monahan. This mural shows a cowboy and cow, to represent the pilgrimage to new land.

3) Night and Day

Directions: Continue down Broadway and turn down E Dakin Ave. Follow the winding road and continue down E Monument ave. Turn left at Johnston St, and to the left you’ll see the next mural. (211 E Dakin)

The Mural: “Night and Day” was made by SeeSkip Franchise. The mural depicts, a dark in the night lake and a lighthouse shining light and color into the darkness.

4) Plight of the Honeybee

Directions: Continue down Johnston St, and make a left on E Dakin Ave. Continue down and the mural will be on your left. (321 E Dakin Ave)

The Mural: “Plight of the Honeybee” was made by Lemus Art. The mural depicts a bee landing on a flower.

5) Tranquility Tree

Directions: Once you reach the end of Dakin towards the lake, take a right. Enjoy a nice walk along lakefront park. Once you reach Bill Johnston Mem Pathway take a right. A bit further down the path, the mural will be on the right. (205 Lakeview Dr)

The Mural: “Tranquility Tree” was made by Jamie Margary. The mural depicts a boy sitting under a large tree to represent tranquility and calm.

6) Iron Horse

Directions: Continue down the path, even once the it becomes Ruby Ave. Turn left on Pleasant St. Pass the building and the mural will be on the left. (16 Broadway)

The Mural: “Iron Horse” was created by C. Stanley Creative. The mural depicts a futuristic vision of Iron robot people and horses.

7) Koi Fish

Directions: Continue down Pleasant St and the mural will be on the right. (104 Pleasant St)

The Mural: “Koi Fish” is another mural by Ric One. As the name implies, the mural depicts koi fish swimming in water.

8) Lanier’s Historic Downtown

Directions: Continue down Pleasant St and the mural will be on the left. (265 Pleasant St)

The Mural: “Lanier's History Downtown” was made by Juliana Davidson LLC. It depicts a regular day in Historic Downtown.

9) Exploding Kingfisher

Directions: Continue to walk straight and make a right at the first available turn. The mural will shortly be on your left. (113 E Monument Ave)

The Mural: “Exploding Kingfisher” was created by Christopher Maslow and it depicts a kingfisher bird, unraveling to almost create an explosion feeling.

10) The Wild Ones

Directions: Turn around and head back towards Broadway. Once you arrive back on Broadway the mural will be on your left at the corner. (126 Broadway)

The Mural: “The Wild Ones” was created by Steven Teller. The mural depicts flowers climbing the tall wall of the building.

11) Snowy Egret

Directions: Continue left and walk down Broadway. The mural will shortly be on your left. (108 Broadway)

The Mural: “Snowy Egret” was created by SLEDS and as the name implies, is an artistic depiction of a snowy egret.

12) Bengal Tiger

Directions: Keep walking straight and the next mural will be on your left. (1 E Darlington Ave)

The Mural: “Bengal Tiger” was created by Nicole Holderbaum and as the name implies, is an artistic depiction of a bengal tiger.

13) The Burrowing Owl

Directions: Keep walking straight again until you see the mural on your left. (12 Broadway)

The Mural: “The Burrowing Owl” was created by German Lemus and is of an owl with a space effect inside of it.

14) Kapp & Kappy

Directions: Walk straight down Emmett street until you see an intersection with N Clyde Ave. Take a right and Kapp & Kappy will be on the corner of N Clyde Ave and W Verona St. (21 N Clyde Ave)

The Location: Kapp & Kappy is an excellent place to stay in the Kissimmee area. It excels in its comfortable vibe and is close to all tourism favorite spots like Disney World. It even has plenty of local restaurants on Broadway to explore!
